Press Release Body = The translation company Primoscrib, founded by Sylvain Renouf
and Stéphane Barrier has now taken off, judging by the latest results published
after only 21 months of business. With a turnover of €230,000 for the first fiscal
year (from 01/10/05 to 30/09/2006), 90% in France and already 10% abroad, the online
positioning of this young company, managed by two e-commerce professionals is
bearing fruit. Learning from the errors of web 1.0 to better meet the needs of their
more and more numerous clients, the two co-managers have managed to establish the
confidence of very demanding clients, notably thanks to the development of a secure
extranet.

This is the case with DaybyDay, an independent financial analysis consultancy
dedicated to the stock market. ‘We work more and more with this company. This began
with a weekly translation in Dutch of a technical analysis for Euronext. Since then
we have continued with translations in English, three a week on average. Our client
delivers the translation via our secure extranet. The translator collects the
document and then delivers the finished translation online. The client then
confidentially picks up his translation. This service is available 24/24h throughout
the world.’ explains Stéphane Barrier.

Primoscrib has therefore developed dramatically in the last two years. Thanks to
hard work and a large part of its strategy dedicated to innovation, the translation
company based near Paris has around 163 clients and 3000 translators (‘we receive
around 5 CVs a day,’ explains Sylvain Renouf). In addition, the decision to create a
blog accessible to translators being part or not of Primoscrib’s network has
contributed to reinforce the efficiency and the presence of the agency on the
internet. ‘We are one of the rare translation companies to have such a blog. It will
be a year old in January 2007,’ adds Sylvain Renouf.
Concluding: ‘This blog allows us both to keep our clients posted about what we do
and to inform people about the translation industry, not always well known by
businesses.’

Our client receives an award from L’Entreprise magazine

Evidence of the in-depth work undertaken by Primoscrib is that our first clients
have remained loyal to our translation services. This is the case of Eurofins, for
example, the French biotechnology group founded in Nantes in 1998. ‘We undertake
most often qualitative or quality studies in English, German, Spanish and Italian
for this company who has just received an award in the category of ‘Entrepreneur of
the year 2006’ from L’Entreprise magazine’, one of the leading economics magazines,
notably for SME managers. An excellent reference for Primoscrib.
The two partners continue to add to their experience in different sectors, such as
fashion. With the translation into English of the press pack for Première classe at
their exhibition in the Tuileries Gardens last October, Primoscrib therefore
confirms its expertise and is now preparing with its client the next exhibition at
Porte de Versailles in February.

Last but no least: Primoscrib has been contacted by Transware, an American group and
one of the leading translation companies based in Ireland. ‘We plan to be partners
for English/French translation. The two companies will sign a partnership agreement
in January 2007. This will bring English/French translation/proofreading in various
areas such as Information Technology (IT), Medical and Telecoms.’ said a delighted
Stéphane Barrier.
Overall, the pace of the work undertaken by the translation agency is accelerating
and the results can now be clearly observed in the company’s turnover. Who said the
Net-economy was behind us?
